what is the name of an 80s anime involving a large white robot with red wings?
i vaguely remember the series from my youth.
the robot/android was large and white and had seperate red wings that was flown independantly to hook up to the robot.
the wings were red and were razor sharp. one episode in particular had one side cut off and thus the pilot couldn't fly due to the imbalance. this was solved by the opponent cutting off the other side.
any help/clues would be cool.
