Do you think official sports programs should be mandatory in Middle School?
Where I live, there are no sports teams for the actual middle school. Sure, there are other leagues, but the thing is, those leagues aren't free, and are much less popular for students. Many students weren't even aware there were football leagues in my area for their age.
My opinion is that it should be mandatory.
Why?
Not only will kids get in physical shape, but they will also develope how to utilize teamwork, become a leader, and have moral support from coaches/teammates. Teams are also a great way to make new friends.
I'm 13, going to 8th grade (Middle School).
Oh, and I meant mandatory for the school to provide it, optional for the kids.
Yes I think sports teams should be part of the education of children. Team effort helps teach many things.
