Why is college football so much more popular than minor league baseball?
People don't watch minor league baseball very much becasue the talent level is much lower than in MLB. But millions watch college football every week, despite the fact that the talent level is much lower than in the NFL.
I understand that some people like to support their college. But a lot of poeple who didn't even go to college still watch college football.
Now, I enjoy a college football game or a minor league baseball game every now and then. But I'm not sure why college football has so many die hard fans when there is a clearly superior product available in the pros. Can someone please explain?
Because unlike Minor League Baseball, I and many other people find college football to be more entertaining than it's professional counterpart. I love the NFL, but the college game is just more fun and interesting to me. I don't care about the overall talent level, the game is faster paced, has more teams, less commercial breaks, more explosive offenses, a far better atmosphere and incredibly loyal fans. And there's no dealing with players b*tching because they're making $20,000,000 a year vs. $25,000,000.
