Why do you support an "unpopular" baseball player?
I'd love to know the reasons fans have in justifying their support of "unpopular" players or players who have singled out by the media. I guess some examples would be Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clemens, Carlos Zambrano, Randy Jackson, Carlos Delgado, Barry Zito etc. Overall it should be someone in the baseball field who is not seen in an overall positive light by fans due to performance or whatever or the media (if connected to steroids). Detailed answers please! 
I support Bonds because he was my favorite player to watch b4 the steroids. I loved how he struck fear into the pitchers minds, because the pitcher knew he was gonna give up a HR. Also in his younger days he was a beast with the glove. I still support bonds because he kept pushing for the HR record even though everyone (except all the Giants fans) was against him, and did as much as they could to stop him. He is one of those players tht loves the game, and he mainly took the steroids so he could prevent injury and continue playing the game he loved.
